Protecting the environment through responsible handling of resources is important to us. And you can help us. Under the myclimate «Cause We Care» initiative, we give you the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution and help us support environmental and climate protection.

With an additional CHF 2.00 per night, you have the opportunity to actively support local climate protection measures. This will also promote selected climate protection projects that prevent or reduce the emissions that even Boutique Hotel Bellevue can’t avoid. Part of this sum will go toward supporting high-quality international climate protection projects operated by Foundation myclimate. The rest of the contribution will be invested in our local climate protection measures or in operational environmental and climate protection such as a switch to renewable energies.

Together we will be caring for the environment so that you and the next generation can enjoy our natural surroundings.

Here’s how it works:

    You stay overnight with us and make a small voluntary contribution for environmental and climate protection

  • We care

    We double this amount and put your contribution and ours toward the hotel’s own myclimate «Cause We Care» sustainability fund.

  • Cause We Care

    This fund finances local climate protection measures (e.g. we invest in renewable energies).
    And you’ll be taking responsibility for the carbon emissions of your stay.

Together we will double the impact.

Clean Drinking Water for Schools and Households in Uganda

The climate protection programme we support has the main goal to disseminate water purification systems to low-income households and institutions such as schools, starting in Uganda. Carbon finance is used to give households access to the clean water technologies thereby improving the livelihoods and health conditions of thousands of people and at the same time reducing CO2 emissions by reducing the consumption of non-renewable firewood and charcoal.

We’re making this commitment in collaboration with Foundation myclimate, Switzerland, as part of the «Cause We Care» programme.
